Lecturer presents scientific lecture

In the series of courses held by UOT about " Problem Based Learning", Asst.Prof Dr. Ali Yousif Fattah presents a lecture named " Problem Based learning in Communications Department" at the presence of the Head of Department Prof.Dr.Emad Merzah and the faculty of the department.

The lecture starts by highlighting the reasons to look for new teaching methods in Iraqi universities and specially in the university of Technology which may ensure graduating efficient engineering staff with high skills able to engage to  the work to meet the requirements of the industrial sector. Lecturer presents a detailed presentation of the proposed method which will be applied, using  the teaching method  by adopting  learning  based  problem and its benefits and the financial requirements and expected challenges for adopting this learning method.

 At the end of the session, there were some effective discussions between the presences and they reach to a recommendation, the application can be adopt imperceptibly from the first stage to other stages in the future after obtaining official approvals to change the curriculum and provide the required material and train the teaching staff.
