Asst.Prof.Dr. Ibtesam R.Kerhy, lecturer at department of communications, UOT has participated in the introductory workshops' talks called ( facing the Smart Future) in addition to the exhibition which was held by the university of Aachen/ Germany on Ugst.,24,2016. This workshop presents the new trends of technological universities which is based on bringing the major industrial companies to their compos by opening offices to communicate directly with the university to face the critical challenges in the market which needs staff, products, smart services such as Industry 4.0, Smart Logistics, Smart Mobility, Smart Cities, Smart Infrastructure.
The idea of
this workshop is based on adopting one department or more of the
university to work with the company of technician actions in
order to invest manufacturing experience of these companies in
addition to
laboratory research environment and the
applied and experimental scientific aspects. Thereby, the
university moves from theory to practice without bureaucracy
breaks and where the possibilities of university and industry
are to invest together. The industrial sector, by its medium and
large companies, will help to rise the scientific research of
the university to find real solutions for the problems also to
prepare human recourses to work directly with the industrial
companies. There are signs to accept international
contributions provided that they have to prepare an integrated
project based on the above principals so that the expansion of
industry and scientific researches by distributing
complementary roles to establish smart technologies
and common complementary solutions by linking the exchange of
experiments with smart logistics that exceed the technological
parameters such as poor infrastructure and other obstacles.
