Prof.Dr. Emad Hussein Merzah, Dean of the Communications Engineering department, has headed the first scientific specialized experts commission hold on Feb.,23,2017 at the department. The meeting hold to provide the scientific and technological consulting for sub-specialization of computer, communications, information technology, networks and software which all based on modern standards to keep pace with the rapid progress in these fields, in addition to develop the curricula and laboratories related to this field in Iraqi governmental and privet universities.

The meeting includes the following members:
