English language center in the University of technology holding a free lecture in collaboration with the organization of ( AMIDEAST/Iraq)  :

The English Language Center at the University Of Technology in cooperation with AMIDEAST/ Baghdad are glad to announce conducting a seminar to provide important info about the following standardized tests (TOEFL, GRE, and SAT) that are usually required from the students when applying to degree programs at the U.S. universities.
The seminar will take place at the University of Technology / Applied sciences department / Mohammed AlJawad’s Hall from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
The seminar is FREE OF CHARGE. And topics that will be covered will include:
• Introducing the attendees to the TOEFL, GRE, and SAT tests and the different formats of each of them.
• The difference between computer and paper based tests.
• The sections of each of the tests and the duration of each section.
• Examples of the institutions that require those tests.
• The different ways to prepare for the tests (recommended books, websites, etc.…)
• The difference between the requirement of TOEFL and IELTS.
• The available dates per year of each test.
• Score reports validity.
• Answering the participants’ questions.
All participants will qualify for a one-time discount if they will register for any of those tests with AMIDEAST in the future.
We will also be distributing free TOEFL samples for each of the participants.
The invitation is for everyone, but due to the limited seat numbers, the priority will be given to the first 200 people who will register.

A confirmation email will be sent to the applicants to let them whether they have been granted a seat or not. Those who will not get lucky in getting a seat, will be invited to other sessions in the near future. Registration deadline is on Saturday, February 21, 2016
