Long experience in chemical analysis including industrial, petroleum, water, environmental, nuclear, pharmaceutical materials, and the analysis and the evaluation of additives and products according to ASTM, USP, and BP. Experience in the operation, analysis, and data interpretation of the following instruments:

 

1.   Iron and Cryomagnet Multinuclear NMR Spectrometer.

2.   GC, HPLC and LC

3.   Inductively coupled plasma, Atomic absorption (Flame and flameless), FT-IR , and

4.   U.V-visible Spectrophotometer

5.   GC-Mass, Quadrapole, and Thermal ionization Mass Spectrometer.

 

IV.    Pharmaceuticals and Radiopharmaceuticals Research:

            As a head of pharmaceutical centre/MOST for ten years, performed and supervised a lot of R & D projects in the field of pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals, recovery of active ingredients from medicinal plants.

V.  Chemicals Production:

Experience in chemical industry and industrial chemicals production including design, equipment manufacture, instillation, production, supervision of the following Iraqi private sector projects and pilot plants:

1.   Sulphonic acid project by dry process 10 T/day.

2.   Ethyl alcohol plant from Iraqi dates by fermentation process 10 M3/day.

3.   Silicic acid plant 25 T/day.

4.   Calcium carbide plant by electric arc process 5 T/day.

5.   Hydrochloric acid by dry process 1 T/day.

6.   Volatile oil from Iraqi plants by steam distillation 1 T/day.

7.   Stainless steel drawing lubricant production line 0.5 T/day.

8.   Citric acid by fermentation process 1 T/day.

9.   Hydraulic fluid production line 5 T/day.

10.    Pilot plant for the production of inorganic pharmaceuticals 0.25 T/day.
