Within the framework of the Cultural Curriculum of the Department of Petroleum Technology at the University of Technology, Prof. Dr.Assour Abdul Rasool delivered a lecture entitled "Improving the flow rates in the oil industry" at the conference hall in the presence of the scientific assistant of the department Dr. Adel Sharif Hammadi and a number of the department's instructors.

The lecture included a review of the technology used to improve flow rates during the pipelines in the oil industry, its advantages and limitations, in addition to modern technology in this field.

Rector Opens Book Fair and Nano Researches

The Rector, Prof.Dr.Amin Douai, opens Book Fair and Nanotechnology Research, which held in the Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Research Center at the University of Technology, in the presence of the Assistant Rector for Administrative Affairs Prof.Dr.Sami Abul-Nun and representatives of a number of publishing stores.

Prof.Dr.Abbas Khamas, director of NanoTechnology Center at the University of Technology said that the fair aims at spreading the culture of nanotechnology and advanced materials as well as developing the skills of researchers through the acquisition of books.

He added that the fair includes scientific and engineering books in Arabic and English, as well as books on human, literary, cultural and religious development
