A teacher from the Department of Materials Engineering participates in the ninth world conference at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad

The instructor from the Department of Materials Engineering at the University of Technology Ali Kamel Ahmed participated in the ninth International Conference on Computer Engineering and Knowledge (ICCKE) held at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in the city of Mashhad in Iran, where the research was published in the IEEE Xplore digital library of the IEEE publishing house with the international standard number, Electronic ISBN: 978-1-7281-5075-8 "9th International Conference on Computer and Knowledge Engineering (ICCKE 2019), October 24-25 2019,Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, research entitled:"

"MC-RPL: A New Routing Approach based on Multi-Criteria RPL for the Internet of Things"

The research included the Internet of Things (IoT) is a group of smart objects that connect and exchange the data collected. The Internet of Things includes sensor networks in which the nodes are limited in terms of power consumption, energy use, and memory. Therefore, a protocol is needed to discover the appropriate path between the nodes in the least amount of time. Low-Energy Networking (RPL) routing is a feature designed for the Internet of things and is used to guide nodes in low-power and low-loss networks (LLNs).

Quality of Service (QoS) in this routing protocol faces some challenges in quality of service based networks. The response protocol must be able to use some criteria during the routing process in this research. RPL VIKOR Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) method has been used to achieve this goal each link selects the path of the best original according to the VIKOR method solution. Simulation results show that the quality of service has increased in terms of average power consumption, end-to-end delay (E2ED), package delivery rate (PDR), and productivity.
