Dissertation from the Materials Engineering Department at the University of Technology. Akram Rahim Jabr Scientific research entitled Synthesis and magnetism of nickel-ferrite nanoparticles in the Iraqi Journal of Mechanical Engineering and Materials in Issue No. 2, Volume 17, 2017.

The study investigated the microbial structure of the fiber produced by the electronic polymerization of PVP, in addition to nickel nitrate and iron nitrate to form the nanoparticle fibers, which was studied using the microscopic electronic microscopes, in addition to the x-ray examination, and proved a phase shift from random to syntactic, The magnetic flux measured by the magnetic vibration scale.

Dr.Mohasen Noori and Dr.QasimAbbas, both lecturers at the mechanical engineering departmet, present a seminar titled (writing scientific researches) at the presence of the department head Asst.Pro.Dr.Mouad Razoqi and the faculty and number of the students.

In the seminar, they focused on how to write a scientific research, such seminars are gerenaraly useful for researchers and especially for high studies students.

The lecture dealt with the structure of the writing of scientific research and the necessity of adhering to this structure. It clarified the main parts of this research and some important information that the researcher should follow to avoid the rejection of his research when presenting it to a scientific journal for the purpose of publishing and how to avoid pilgrim (or scientific theft) as well as how to know fraudulent publishers .

Lecturer publishes scientific research

Dr. Mustafa Majid Al-Mukhtar, lecturer at Department of Construction in Construction Engineering at the University of Technology, published a scientific research in the magazine "Environmental Earth Sciences' entitled:((((       ))))The researcher concluded that soil moisture is an essential component of the soil hydrological cycle in many cases. Modeling and predicting soil moisture is a major problem in the field of water resources because of the lack of measurements. The models of artificial intelligence were characterized by being a tool to overcome this deficiency in measurements. The main objective of this study is to determine the best method of artificial intelligence to model moisture content using synthetic data for moisture content from SWAT program. And three ways of artificial intelligence developed and compared among them to determine the best way. These methods areFEEDFORWARD, RADIAL BASIS, LAYER RECURRENT.Rain and wetland content were used as feedstock inputs and outputs were current moisture content. The data were divided into two parts, the first to calibrate the models and the second to the verification. The data showed that LAYER RECURRENT was the best among the used methods It is worth noting that the magazine has an impact of 1.65 and is published by Springer Publishing House.
