The Department of Laser and Optoelectronics Engineering at the University of Technology awarded the Master Degree of Zainab Qassim Mohammed for her thesis (Designing and Constructing a Solid State Laser System using Virtual Reality Technology).
 The discussion committee was composed of Prof. Mohamed Abdel Wahab Manshid from the University of Technology as president of the University of Technology Dr. Ibrahim Abdulla Mardas of Babil University and Dr. Anas Ali Hassan from the University of Nahrain.  The researcher reached to study the applied design by the new design of the virtual world of solid state laser systems pumped by diode laser. This work separates the investigation into the use of the VRML model language to apply and build the solid state laser pump system by diode laser which is easily accessible to Internet.
