The Department of Materials Engineering at the University of Technology organized seminar delivered
Prof. Dr. Alaeddin Abdel Hamid a lecture on the application of gas reagents in the hall of Prof. Dr. Fadil Jiyad Attia on Wednesday 3/5/2017, attended by a number of teachers and students. Graduate studies in the department.
The researcher showed how to use the gas sensor, a device that detects the presence or increase in concentrations of gas or gases in the area and monitoring of environmental pollution, especially those gases that may be harmful to humans or animals or the environment, in other words, the change in behavior when exposure to gas test is due to Change in the concentration of drawings in the surface of the material sensor.
The expansion and increase in the industry has attracted great attention to gas sensor monitoring technology. These applications include safety, environment, industry, agriculture, medical applications, mining, mining and oil. In addition to the role of the materials engineer in the manufacture of reagents, the first is to choose the reagents are the metal oxides and triglycerides such as ZnO, SnO2, WO3 TiO2, Fe2O3, CuO and secondly choose the large design of the detector design and design Micro-Nano design.
