The Center for Continuous Education at the University of Technology has organized a course on chemical safety in chemical laboratories and stores for the period 21-25 / 5/2017 with the participation of trainees representing the Oil Pipeline Company and the General Company for Fertilizers.
The aim of the course is to raise the level of awareness and performance of laboratory and warehouse workers who are in contact with various types of chemicals and their uses.
Its curriculum includes classification of chemicals according to known global classifications, chemical procurement, transportation, storage and inventory of chemicals.
Lectures were delivered at the session by dr. Azhar Mahmoud from the Environmental Research Center.
