Assist. Prof. Dr. Faraj Mohammed from the Electromechanical Engineering has published a single scientific research paper in Al-Khwarizmi Engineering Journal entitled:
Mechanical properties investigation of composite material under different parameters variations
Analysis of the mechanical properties of composite materials when changing different factors
The researcher, in his research on mechanical properties, weight and cost, adopted a standard for the design and selection of a composite material plate used in the UAV light shell. The volumetric fracture of fibers, additives and fiber type were the factors that were taken into account with three levels of each for differentiation in plate selection.
The specific element method was used to find the stress distribution on the wing and calculate the maximum stress. The results showed that the process was very close to the calculated results. The fiber type factor has the greatest impact on plate selection followed by additions and then volume fracture of fibers.
