Dr. Azad Bader Said, from the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Technology, received a PhD in distinction from his thesis (Intelligent Sensor Network based on Logically Logical Matrix) on the Al Furat Hall in the section.
The discussion committee consisted of: Prof.Dr. Hikmat Najem Abdullah as President, Prof.Dr. Thamer Rasheed Shaid, dr. Munir Abboud Hashem, Prof.Dr.Hassan Fahad Khazaal, And , Prof.Dr. Hanan Abdul Ridha Akkar and Prof.Dr. Ayed Khalaf Mohammed as a supervisor.
The researcher, through his thesis, designed and built a smart wireless sensor network used in the applications of carbon monoxide sensing, which contains three main parts: the smart system, the sensor interface unit, and the wireless communication system, where the smart system was used to process data coming from gas sensors Carbon monoxide and display the result of the input data rate. The sensor interface module was used to convert the analogue output signals of these sensors to binary data leading to the input of the smart system stored in the FPGA As well as the use of wireless communication system for the transmission of digital data for long distances between the sensor unit and the smart system.
