Head of Electrical Engineering Department Dr. Dhari Yousif Mahmoud, Director of Statistics and Information Bank at the University of Technology Statisticians Anam Hussain Ahmed with a certificate of appreciation for her efforts exerted and distinguished by them in order to improve the statistics and the information bank at the level of the department and the university.
 The Director of the Department of Statistics expressed her gratitude and thanks to this initiative by the Department of the Department of Statistics and the Department of Statistics for their serious and constructive cooperation in organizing, summarizing, presenting and analyzing the data to reach the results. The Center for Continuous Education at the University of Technology held a course on Carbon Fiber and Polymers for the period 24/9 - 5/10/2017 with the participation of trainees from the Ministries of the State.
 The course aims at introducing participants to the types of important overlays, their carbon and polymer fibers, their production methods and techniques, their purpose and their important requirements.
 The curriculum includes: a historical overview of overlapping materials, types, classifications, historical evolution of overlapping materials, methods of failure analysis of overlapping materials, standard specifications of materials, organizations sponsoring important specifications, mechanical tests, hardness, shock, bleaching, torsion, bending and bending.
 The lecture will be given by Abdulkhaliq Fawzi from the Department of Production and Minerals at the University.

The University Committee for Scientific Promotion at the University of Technology and the approval of the President of the University of Technology Prof. Dr. Amin Douai Thamer promoted the teaching of Rana Afif Majid from the Department of Materials Engineering to the rank of professor.

In the belief of the University of Technology in support of our security forces and popular mobilization, the Department of building and Construction Engineering at the University of Technology held training and periodic courses for engineering staff members of the popular crowd. The department addressed the courses of several axes, the first is the reading and analysis of the map. The course was supervised by Dr. Abdul Razzaq Tarash with the participation of distinguished lecturers: Dr. Mazahim Abdel Karim, Dr. Oday Zakaria Jassim, Dr. Mohamed Mgbel Saleh, Kazem Mousa Spous, M. Nour Hashem, Haifa Nasser and Eng. Ali Abdel Aoun.
