The Journal of Science, Engineering and Technology with an impact factor of 0.53, issued by Taylor University of Malaysia, chooses Assist. Prof.Dr. Mohammed A. Al Nuaimi from Building and Construction Engineering Department at the University of Technology as a scientific reviewer as he is known for his good reputation and great scientific potential among Iraqi universities.

 Lecturers from Materials engineering department at the University of Technology, namely: Assist.Prof.Dr. Emad S. Abdul Karim, Assist.Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul Hamid and Lect. Dr. Fatima J. Mahmoud participated in the first exhibition of patents held by the University of Baghdad in College Agriculture cooperated with the Association of Private Banks

Assist. prof. Dr.Aseel Abdul Hussain was selected as a member of the jury of the Patent Exhibition specialized in Pure Sciences.

Prof.Dr.Ameen Dawoi, the president of university of technology, honored the MSC students at the applied sciences department Anaheed Hamdi and Emad Abdul-Rasool with an appreciation certificate for completing the MSC requirements before dead line.

The university president also honored their supervisors with an appreciation certificate and they are Prof.Dr.Gassan Mohamed Majid Sakhi.
