After the lecture, a seminar was held to discuss the latest methods and techniques used on the project.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Technology held a specialized scientific lecture "The Use of Hydrocarbon gases as icing fluids "delivered by Dr. Ahmed Abd-Mohammed Saleh in the late Dr. Munir Al-Mudhaffar hall in the Department of Mechanical Engineering
The lecture was delivered in the presence of the Head of Department. Moayad Razouki Hassan and its Scientific Associate Dr.Qassim Abbas Attieh and the administrative Associate Dr. Falah Fakher Hatim with a number of professors and employees of the Mechanical Engineering Department,
During the lecture had discussed the latest methods and techniques used in the modern equipment in the world of air conditioning in general and the use of hydrocarbon gases in particular of this field.

A graduate student in the Department of Electromechanical Engineering at the University of Technology Maha Naji Abdul Rida received a master's degree with a
Fatigue Life Prediction of Aluminum Alloy using Electrical Drop Technique
Estimation of the weight of the alloy of the aluminum alloy using the technique of falling voltage
The results were accurate in guessing the life of the parts and detecting the onset of the failure until it occurred. The technique was designed and implemented in the department of electromechanical engineering and was very successful in detecting failure and taking the necessary action to design when it occurred. This failure.
The discussion committee consisted of Dr. Faraj Mohammed, a member of the Department of Electromechanical Engineering at the University of Technology, as Chairman, Dr. Hassan Fahad Khazaal, Faculty of Engineering, Wasit University, and Dr. Asil Abdul Baqi Abdul Razzaq, Dr. Abdul Jabbar Oweid Hana samka Supervisors, all from the Department of Electromechanical Engineering at the University of Technology.

The Environmental Research Center at the University of Technology organized a seminar in which lecturer . Ayman Shaker Awad from the Department of Environmental Pollution delivered a lecture on technology, the environment and the effects of electronic waste on the blue hall in the center on Tuesday 9/5/2017.
The lecture showed that the rapid growth in the field of technology has led to increasing global demand for modern innovations, which led to the accumulation of many of them and converted to electronic waste, where the volume of waste such as computers, mobile phones and TVs are increasing significantly each year This affects human health and environmental integrity.
The term "electronic waste" was used to describe electronic appliances or neglected electrical products whose life span, age of operation, or the appearance of which were more sophisticated. It is one of the fastest growing and expanding environmental pollution in the world, where UNEP estimates that approximately 8% of the world's electronic waste growth is annually. Which contain dangerous substances and toxic elements that threaten environmental safety and public health.
