Computer Science Department discuss MA thesis

Computer Science Department at the University of Technology discussed MA thesis (a proposal for an image encryption approach based on homogeneous techniques and elliptic curve coding) for student Zainab Muhammad in the field of data security in the discussion hall of Computer Science Department building.

The thesis aims to protect images that contain important information by encrypting them by a symmetric cipher system, and to improve partially symmetric algorithms by encrypting an alpha-curve to obtain high security in protecting images and reduce encryption time.

The study reached to improve the beauty algorithm by using the algebra of the Albatik Curve, where a two-dimensional mask for encryption will be generated through the standards used saving execution time.
