Civil Engineering Department at the University of Technology granted MSc. degree in of Health and Environmental Engineering disciple to the student (Saja Hashem Salem) on 6/10/2021, at the postgraduate hall in the department for her thesis tagged

" Characterization of Nano Titanium Oxide and polluting water to Environment"

The thesis aim was to evaluate and study the performance of using commercial polymer films made of (PSF) coated with multiple concentrations of Nano-titanium oxide (TiO2) prepared by spray pyrolysis and using them in the gray water treatment of the building of the Public Works and Maintenance Institution of the Ministry of Construction Housing and Public Municipalities, which include collecting water from hand basins and treating it for reuse for non-potable water purposes for (W.C Flushing). The results obtained of manufactured membranes, after sampling from six membranes (3 commercial + 3 manufactured). The highest results for the treatment were for the manufactured membranes, and after calculating the amount of gray water generated and returned, it was found that the treatment system saves about 44% of the drinking water used for rinsing the toilets.
