Electrical Engineering Department at the University of Technology discussed MA thesis entitled:

(Analysis of AC Micrograds Voltage Control Based on Pl and Fuzzy Logic Controller)

This thesis, which was presented by the student Marwan Sadeed Ahmed, suggested two control methods to adjust the voltage and improve the performance and efficiency of alternating current in the AC-MG network. The integrated proportional controller (PI) and logic controller (PI-fuzzy) regulate the DC coupler and output voltage of the three-phase multi-level inverter.

The researcher indicated that these controllers were selected using six photovoltaic groups with a capacity of 102 kW that were designed and simulated in the MATLAB / Simulink platform, in addition to that, the maximum power is extracted from the photovoltaic groups using the incremental conduction algorithm (INC) to track the maximum power point in these groups, The five-level H-bridge multi-level inverter is used in the grid mode to mitigate the mismatch between the six PV arrays and to enhance the efficiency of the PV system in the grid mode.
