The Applied Sciences Department Held the Second International Conference

Sponsored by Prof.Dr.Nabeel Abid Sahib, Minister of Higher Education and scientific research, and supervised by the President of University of Technology Prof.Dr.Ahmed Al-Gabban, the Applied Sciences Department at University of Technology held its second international conference at the university stage titled "the second international conference for material sciences, laser and applied physics".

Al-Gabban explained in his speech that holding such conferences is considered a communication, education, discussion and constructive communicating through exchanging ideas to solve problems that may face the state institutions, and this is the role of the education institute.

At his side, the head of applied sciences department, Prof.Dr.Read Ismael mentioned that the number of the researches presented in the conference is 73 researches, some of them presented during the conference and others were presented electronically in different fields of materials sciences , laser and applied physics.

Most researchers were from faculty of Iraqi Universities and also international participations and students of high studies inside university.

The conference aims at presenting the advanced researches in material sciences, laser and applied physics, also aims to meet the researchers in these scientific forums to exchange their scientific ideas which may serve the scientific research in the country, all remaining session will be electronically continued.
