U.O.T.  Organizes a Workshop On Natural Risks

Civil Defense Division and Environmental Research Center at U.O.T. , in cooperation with Chemical and Biological Safety and Security Division in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Department of Studies, Planning and Follow-up, organized a workshop entitled  (Preparing a Guide to Natural Risks , Classifying Risks and Disasters and Setting Necessary Measures to Reduce and Confront Them) on AL  Salam Hall in Continuous Education Center.

The workshop discussed risks that can be identified by specifying  possible future events, determining the degree of risk, taking measures and procedures, and registering results.

The workshop was attended by  Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hussein Hamid Karim, and a number of directors of divisions and units in the scientific and Engineering Departments.
