The Department of Electromechanical Engineering holds a course in Civil Defense and Public Safety

The Department of Electromechanical Engineering, in cooperation with the Civil Defense Division/ the University Follow-up Department at the University of Technology, held an awareness course on civil defense and public safety. The lecture was delivered by a team specialized in civil defense and public safety from Al Karrada District Center.

The session was attended by the head of the department, Prof.Dr Hisham Selim  Anaed and the assistants and heads of the branches in addition to a large group of professors, affiliates and students of the department.

The course focused on a detailed information of how to deal with fires and the correct way to use fire extinguishers of all kinds, in addition to providing an explanation of first aid and how to rescue the injured.

The course was well received.
