The workshop began with a recitation of verses from the Holly Qur’an, followed by a brief speech by the head of the Production Engineering Branch, Prof. Dr. Shukri Hamid stressed the importance of consolidating the relationship between the student and the Lecturer, then between the student and the department's administration on the other hand.

    Then, it is delivered a lecture about: (The Reasons for the Student’s Delay and Stumbling during the Academic Progress and Methods of Resolving). It was prepared by the rapporteur of Production Branch, Assist. Lec. Majed Hamid and presented by Lec. Dr. Adel Ghanem, Chief of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit in the department.

  Then discussion was opened, opinions and ideas were put forward, and the most important obstacles to the educational process. Then a brief speech of the head of the Department Prof. Dr. Mona Khudair Abbas indicated that the department’s presidency is open to students to provide facilities in their university studies. A number of lecturers participated in the discussion as well.
