Materials Engineering Department hold an awareness symposium

Materials Engineering Department at UOT held an awareness symposium about (Civil society organizations and its impact in activate the woman role) in the presence of, President Assistant of Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hussein Hameed Kareem, the head of Material Department Assist. Prof. Dr. Hussein A. Jabber and his Deputies: the Scientific Deputy, Prof. Dr. Jawad Khadim, the Administrative Deputy, Assist. Prof. Dr. Layth Wadah, number of UOT employees and staff faculty.

The symposium started by playing the Republican anthem and a verse of holly Qur'an then reading Surat Al-Fatihah on Iraqi martyrs' souls.

The symposium included two lectures: -

The first one was about (Civil Society Organization in Iraqi Society) delivered by Dr. Ali B.Altemeemy / the head of Ufoq Development Organization.

The second was about (the impact of Civil society organizations in activate the woman role) delivered by Assist. Prof. Dr. Sura J. Hanna /

The symposium concluded by handed certifications over the participants.
