The President of the Republic receives the Minister of Higher Education and discusses universities programs and their support for state institutions 

The President of the Republic received Dr. BarhamSalih, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. NabilKazem Abdel-Saheb, and discussed the scientific and service universities' programs.

His Excellency the President of the Republic expressed his confidence in Iraqi universities in performing their academic duties and supporting state institutions in providing the necessary expertise and skills required by the current circumstance.

In turn, the Minister of Higher Education affirmed that universities and educational institutions have dealt with exceptional and urgent changes and have achieved an important percentage of their goals in coordination with world universities and organizations, pointing out that there is great eagerness among professors and teachers to continue their scientific and ethical mission in building society despite the effects of the economic circumstance.

He explained that among the indicators of the scientific presence of our Iraqi universities is the presence of their outputs in areas of excellence in international universities, the rise of their competition index in the approved classifications, and the increase in the number of scientific research for professors and students to more than sixty-one thousand published papers in Scopus containers.
