The Center for Continuing Education at the University of Technology organized a course on open concrete concrete channels - problems of pouring in hot weather and methods of treatment with the participation of trainees representing the Iraqi Drilling Company.

The course aimed to define the participants on the concrete channels lining and problems of casting in hot weather and problems and ways to deal with them.

The system included open channels, open channel runways, problems in open concrete concrete channels and their treatment methods, casting problems of open concrete channels in hot air, quality control of concrete used in open concrete concrete channels, for spot checks of open concrete channels.

The course was delivered by Dr. Bassel Salah Al-Shathar from the Department of Construction and Construction Engineering at the University of Technology.
