Petroleum Technology Department at the University of Technology in cooperation with the Society of International Oil Engineers (SPE) organized a seminar  about "Basic of drilling technology" in the presence of the Head of Department, Dr. Aqeel Shaker Al-Adly and the Head of the Branch, Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Ramadan. By Engineer Ibrahim Hassan Abdul Hadi of the Basra Oil Company - Northern Rumaila And talked about the basics of drilling, which consists of towers and parts of drilling and also explained the importance of drilling in the oil industry and how to develop.

 At the conclusion of the lecture, the lecturer was honored with a letter of thanks and appreciation by the head of the department in appreciation of the efforts exerted.
