The Environmental Research Center at the University of Technology organized a seminar during the cultural season through which the Lecture taught. Bassem Hashim Faraj, a lecture on food contamination of rice and methods of treatment in the presence of the Director of the Center, Dr. Abdul Hamid Mohammed Jawad al-Obeidi and staff of the Center.

Which is the main part of the food meal of the Iraqi individual, and the existence of scientific evidence to prove the presence of rice high pollution of heavy elements, especially arsenic, cadmium , Lead in global markets. We must investigate and find solutions, where these heavy elements are responsible for various cancers and other diseases.
