Technology is classified as (Young University Rankings 2020) to be the only Iraqi university that entered the classification and ranked (301 - 351) in the world.

The University of Technology has achieved a distinguished position this year within the file of international classifications, which is a remarkable scientific achievement and falls within the unique achievements of the university since its founding in 1975, especially since this classification (Young University Rankings) places global universities that have been established for less than 50 years and as It is known to all that the age of the University of Technology from its inception until today is 45 years, as the results of this classification were issued on Wednesday 24/6/2020 and thus the summary of the university classification within the British Times classification only for the year 2020
