Environmental Research Center at the University of Technology held a seminar on the flower of the Nile: The environmental importance and mechanics of treatment, it is given by L.Ahmad Safa Abdul Hussein of the department of environmental pollution in the center
 The aim of the lecture was to demonstrate the impact and importance of the Nile flower and study methods of treatment was to clarify the methods used for the treatment which included three ways for the first-called mechanical one, which it’s used with little efficiency and is one of the temporary ways ,The second method is the chemical one that is good and with a clear influence, but it is difficult to use in Iraq because of the difficulty of controlling on water that added chemicals materials and how to use the water again, and the third way, which has focused on it showed its importance in lecturer that it is a vital way. Naturally hostile to this herb has been so take advantage of this method and focused research efforts to find some kind of vital neighborhoods and use hostility to the herb..
