Technology is ranked within (Young University Rankings 2020) in advanced positions among the world university in science and engineering majors

In the recent year, the University of Technology acquired a distinguished position within the file of global rankings, which is a remarkable scientific achievement and is part of the unique achievements of the university since its establishment in 1975, especially since this classification (Young University Rankings) places international universities that have been established less than 50 years ago and as It is known to everyone that the age of the University of Technology from its establishment until today is 45 years, as the results of this classification were issued on the University of Technology website as follows:

1- The University of Technology ranked (61 - 70) in the Arab world and fourth locally in the Qs classification for the Arab region for the year 2021.

2- The University of Technology is ranked (+801) globally and second locally in the British Times Ranking (THE - World University Ranking by Subject) within the Computer Science major for the year 2021 in entering for the first time in its history within this specialization.

3- The University of Technology is ranked (801 - 1000) globally and second locally in the British Times Ranking (THE - World University Ranking by Subject) in the field of engineering for the year 2021.

4- The University of Technology is ranked (801-1000) globally and first locally, followed by the University of Baghdad and Basra in the British World University Ranking by Subject (THE - World University Ranking by Subject) in the field of physical sciences for the year 2021.

The President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Hassan Al-Ghabban, expressed his gratitude and high appreciation to all university leaders, faculty, associates and students, as they are common basic factors in achieving success and progress for the benefit of our dear University in particular and higher education in Iraq in general.
