Dept. of Chemical Engineering at UOT Holds a Seminar

Within the cultural season of the first semester of Chemical Engineering Dept , a seminar was held online for postgraduate students (Ph.D.) / research stage.

In this study, the student/ Dhiaa Jumaa explained that all the methods used to remove Carbon dioxide from natural gas and that the films separation method was determined as the best method that can be used in the Noor oil field of Maysan Oil Company. A laboratory system was established that simulates the industrial systems used for separation, to study the effect of many design factors such as feeder pressure, temperature and carbon dioxide concentration. Also display the mathematical model and all the equations used.The seminar was attended by Head of the Chemical Engineering Dept., Prof. Dr. Jamal M. Ali Al-Rubaie and a group of the department's professors.
