The President of UOT Receives the Dean of AL Imam Al-Kazim College (PBUH) in a Joint Scientific Meeting

Prof. Dr. Al-Ghaban, (Our university is present in strengthening relationships with other academic institutions).

The President of UOT, Prof. Dr. Ahmed M. Hassan Al-Ghaban, Dean of AL Imam Al-Kazim College (PBUH), received Dr. Ali Al-Khaqani and his accompanying delegation on a joint scientific visit to exchange ideas within the framework of the joint work to develop academic institutions.

Al-Ghaban expressed his admiration for the experience of Imam Al-Kadhim College (PBUH) and its institutional balance that reached advanced levels among Iraqi universities, emphasizing that the visit represents a good step for effective cooperation in present time and future.

 Al-Ghaban added, after giving a full explanation of his university, its capabilities, and its position nationally and internationally that the University of Technology places its academic and specialized credit in the service of AL Imam Al-Kazim College (PBUH) project to rise up in its scopes towards more opportunities for progress and success.

The  Dean of AL Imam Al-Kadhim College (peace be upon him), Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Al-Khaqani, assured  that the College is ambitious in building an academic and institutional understandings with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and sober scientific universities to serve the education project and look forward for more opportunities for success and the desirable progress.

Al-Khaqani expressed his happiness for joint cooperation with the University of Technology, which is (the engineering home for minor specialty certificates) in Iraq due to its centralization at the basics of specialized education in various fields of engineering and its various departments.

Al-Khaqani added, after presenting a detailed review of the college, its branches, departments and its relations with its national and international counterparts - adding that the college seeks to extend bridges of work in several areas, including the establishment of joint conferences and cultural and scientific exchange, especially with regard to university and college professors, and the promotion of publishing in scientific journals between the two sides as well as Employing pioneer centers of the University of Technology to enhance the skills and capabilities of AL Imam Al-Kazim College (PBUH) professors and their employees, and its project serves opening similar centers.

The meeting was attended by, Prof. Dr. Heider Abed Dhahad/ Vice- President for Scientific Affairs, Asst .Prof. Dr. Hussein H. Karim/ Vice- President for Administrative Affairs, as well as Director of the Dept. of Media and Public Relations, and from the College of Imam Al- Kazim (PBUH) ,Scientific Assistants of the  Dean and Postgraduate Studies and Wasit Departments, and Head of the Computer Technology Engineering Department In the college, Director of Public Relations and Media, and Director of the Dean’s office
