Vice- President for Scientific Affairs & Postgraduate Studies of U.O.T. /Prof. Dr. Heider Abed Dhahad visited many laboratories and stores for chemical and biological materials for the purpose of following up the progress of the chemical safety and security procedures in avoiding fire leading to unmetered risks.

This inspecting visit came according to the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for all universities to take measures of the Committee for Chemical, Biological and Radiological Safety and Security with the CBRN Division and the chemical materials stores and laboratories at the University of Technology.

The visit included all laboratories and chemical stores in the Department of Applied Sciences,  Department of Materials Engineering and the Department of Civil Engineering.
