The President of the University of Technology Receives a Delegation from the Iraqi Engineers Association

Prof. Dr. Ahmed M.  Hassan Al-Ghabban, received in his office a delegation from the Iraqi Engineers association in order to strengthen bilateral relations between the two sides after a long time break.

The meeting was attended by  the Vice –President  for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, Prof. Dr. Heider Abed - Dhahad, the Director of  Media and Public Relations Dept. , Dr. Sari Tahsin Rishan, and from Iraqi Engineers association both Mr. Omar Salam Youssef/ Union's Secretary, and Dr. Wael Rashid Abdul-Majeed, a member of the board and head of the cultural activity committee professor, Firas Ali Ajad, Head of  Petroleum Engineering Dept.

The meeting included a discussion of many important subjects that will tackle many problems, including updating the affiliation data for graduates as well as members of the faculty. It was agreed that a joint committee would emerge working to overcome these obstacles and set some simplified procedures for making data according to an electronic platform, as well as a visit to the university by a working group from the association to renew and amend the status of affiliation to the association.

Prof. Dr. Al-Ghabban emphasized on providing all facilities that the union needs by activating all the services that help the union to improve its work.
