Under the slogan (Baghdad is the capital of Arab youth), the University of Technology host the Arab Forum for Talents and Scientific Innovations

 The University of Technology held an exhibition of scientific innovations under the slogan (Baghdad is the capital of Arab youth 2021), in the presence of:

Assistant president of scientific affairs, Prof. Dr. Haider Abed Dahd, and Director General of Scientific Care in the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Dr. Ahmed Saad, with the participation of 12 Arab countries, namely Libya, Tunisia, South Africa, Palestine, Yemen, Djibouti, Somalia, Sudan and other Arab delegations.

The scientific assistant, Prof. Dr. Haider Abed Dahd, received the Arab delegations in the Hall of Innovative Students Forum, UOT and it was a distinguished review of all projects, innovations and scientific talents

The exhibition, which was established in the Student Club to sponsor scientific innovations, aimed to showcase the elites of the patent and a group of students' innovations.

Prof. Dr. Ala'a Alaa El Din Abdul-Hamid, one of the participants in the exhibition, said she participated in the exhibition with two patents, namely the manufacture of a multi-smart detector from triple oxides for medical diagnostic applications, and the second patent the manufacture and use of nanopowder from cement factory waste.

After that, the Arab delegation toured the university campus and viewed its landmarks, scientific and engineering departments, most notably a visit to the Civil Engineering Department. The delegation was received by Prof. Dr. Hassan Hamoudi Johnny, head of the department, and spoke about the branches and study system in the department. After that, the delegation concluded the visit to the training center and laboratories. The delegation was received by Prof. Dr. Wisam Hamid and watch the technical and engineering workshops in the center.
