Empowerment Women Unit at UOT hold a lecture to combat violence against women

Within the activities of the 16 days to combat violence against women, the Women Empowerment Unit at the University of Technology, in cooperation with Electromechanical Engineering Department, held a workshop entitled “Psychosocial and social support for the abused” presented by Mrs. Enas Hadi Saadoun / Master of Educational Psychology, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hisham Salim Aneed, Administrative Deputy Prof. Dr. Khaled Faisal Sultan and a number of the department’s employees and students. Chief Eng. Zina H. Al-Sabbagh, the chief of the Empowerment Woman Unit, gave a speech about women’s rights and their ambition to advance the status of women in society.
