Toyota Iraq holds a scientific symposium at the University of Technology
Under the auspices of the President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Al-Ghabban, the Toyota Iraq Company organized a scientific symposium in the central hall of the Civil Engineering Department under the title (Universities... Factories of Science and Culture), in cooperation with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, the Division of Research and Development, and the Division of Rehabilitation and Employment.
The symposium was attended by Assistant to the President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hussein Hamid Karim, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Moayad Razzouqi, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohsen Nuri Hamza, Scientific Assistant to the Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. Sadiq Hussein, Head of the General Mechanics Branch, Assistant Professor Dr. Adel Mahmoud Saleh, Head of the Automotive Engineering Branch, and Professor Assistant Dr. Hassanein Mohamed Hussein, head of the air conditioning branch, and teacher Dr. Amjad Talal, head of the Research and Development Division.
The symposium included an introductory brief about Toyota Iraq presented by the company's official (Lina Ali Kazem), then Eng. Ali Moneim gave a lecture on hybrid cars of Toyota and modern technologies for the manufacture of Toyota cars that operate with two engines (electric and petrol). The purpose of these modern cars is to reduce fuel consumption. And harmful emissions (pollutants), as these cars are considered economical in all aspects and environmentally friendly, as the Toyota company in all its branches, in cooperation with the University of Technology, the Automotive Engineering Branch, developed cadres through summer training and receiving distinguished graduates to work in this company, noting that most of the company’s engineers are graduates Department of Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering Branch.
