An awareness seminar within the 16-day campaign to combat violence against women at the University of Technology

Under the patronage of the respected President of the University of Technology, Professor Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Al-Ghabban, and under the supervision of the Director of the Internal Departments Department, Dr. Muhannad Najah Jawad, the Women’s Empowerment Unit in the Presidency of the University of Technology, in cooperation with the Department of Internal Departments, joined a symposium entitled (Women’s Defensive Sports) in the female students’ internal department, presented by Professor Saad Mahmoud Al-Jassas and the international player, Taiba Fahim Ibrahim, with some defensive movements for self-defense, in the presence of Mrs. Assistant Director of the Department of Internal Departments for Student Affairs, Dr. Sari Salem Ahmed, with the educational guidance staff in the department and female students of the internal department. She defended herself, pushed the aggression away from her, and taught the aggressor a lesson, without negatively affecting her womanhood. The international champion, the player Taiba, gave practical exercises to the students on how to defend themselves.
