Applied Sciences Department hold a lecture about empowering women in government institutions

Under the auspices of University of Technology President, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Al-Ghabban, and under the supervision of the Head of Applied Sciences Department, Prof. Dr. Raed Abdel-Wahhab Ismail, the Women’s Empowerment Unit in the department, in cooperation with the Essen Organization for Human Rights and Sustainable Development, held a lecture about Empowering Women in Governmental Institutions, delivered by each of Ansam Salman Khudair, lawyer Nouf Khalid Talib, and Marah Ahmed Mazen, in the presence of staff faculty and employees of the department.

The lecture aimed at empowering women and legislation by not neglecting the rights of mothers, daughters, working employees, and even those who did not have the opportunity to learn, and recognizing women's rights as a whole.

The lecture dealt with an illustration about creating a supportive and inclusive environment to facilitate women's entry into the labor market and raising awareness of policies related to women in the labor market, as well as encouraging women's career development and developing regulatory legislation that supports women's work in the labor market.

The lecture also touched on the leadership training and guidance initiative to encourage remote and flexible work.

The lecture concluded with the distribution of appreciation certificates to the lecturers by the head of the department, wishing them continued success.
