Academic Delegation from Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein Discussed Prospects of Cooperation with Computer Science Department.
The Computer Science Department at the University of Technology discussed with an academic delegation from the holy shrine of Imam Hussein the prospects of joint scientific and research cooperation between the two parties, in the presence of the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ferhad Muhammad Othman, and the scientific assistant in the Department of Computer Science, Prof. Dr. Abeer Tariq Mawlood, and the heads of branches.
During the meeting, the focus was on developing skills in various fields, such as artificial intelligence and cyber security, with the aim of preparing specialized and advanced scientific staff in various fields of computer science. The delegation also inspected the equipment and capabilities of the artificial intelligence and cyber security laboratories in the Department of Computer Science.
This cooperation comes to bridge the gaps between academic education and the needs of the labour market in both the public and private sectors.
