A volunteer team of faculty members and staff from the Department of Chemical Engineering has begun a campaign to isolate and label chemical materials in the department's laboratory building

This initiative comes in line with the directives of the University of Technology, which places great emphasis on the requirements for health, safety, and security in chemical laboratories. A volunteer team from the Department of Chemical Engineering, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Manal Afham Touma, has started to rehabilitate the second chemical storage facility in the laboratories annex building. This step aims to enhance safety and security measures to protect the environment, the health of students, and staff. The head of the Department of Chemical Engineering, Professor Dr. Khaled Ajmi Sukar, praised the team's volunteer efforts, which are driven by a sense of responsibility to apply laboratory quality standards according to rigorous conditions that support the educational process.
