The metarials engineering department at the University of Technology granted PHD to the student (Sajid Abd Khuder) for his dissertation ((----------)).
The technique of friction and mixing is an innovative way to improve the properties of materials through plastic deformation. Therefore, it was used to improve the surface properties of polymers by creating hybrid overlays on the surface of the base material used in industrial and structural applications. the study was devived into two parts, in the first part the researcher tries to make. (HDPE: Polyvinyl Chloride), high Density Polyethylene (HDPE): Acrylonitrite Polypropylene (HDPE) Polypropylene by using a friction and mixing method at a depth of 3 mm from the base surface of the high-density polyethylne material. The discussion committee was chaired by Prof.Dr.Ahmed Auda from university of Babylon and the membership of Prof.Dr.Balqes Mohamed, Prof.Dr.Mohamed Salab from university of Technology, Prof.Dr.Zuher Jabbar from university of Karbalaa and Asst.Prof.Dr.Abdul-Rahman Najim from al-Nahrain University. Asst.Prof.Dr.Suhama Essa and Asst.Prof.Dr.Jiwad Kadhim from university of Technology as supervisors. Asst.Prof.Dr.Mohsen Abulaah from university of Baghdad as scientific reviewer.
