A discussion of PhD dissertation in Computer Science Department at UOT about the detection of internal threats using body language and a light gradient enhancement machine.

The dissertation that presented by the student Muhammad Abdulaziz Muhammad aimed to reveal the internal attacker (the spy), with its two passive types, that does not do any physical theft of information, but only sees, hears and transmits information to competitors or enemies, and the other type is the active attacker who physically steals information was with a disk. The internal attacker of organizations and institutions of all kinds leads a great danger, as if it is not detected, it causes very great damage that may reach the collapse of the organization in which it works.

This dissertation proposed an approach to obtain an early indication of a passive insider attacker before a crime is committed, whereby an approach based on body language is used to give an early warning of the inner attacker. The researcher used a simpler and faster solution that gave accurate results, whereby an intelligent approach was applied to detect an attacker from the inside using a light gradient reinforcement machine.

The researcher concluded that body language is an early indicator that can be used to indicate a negative internal attacker, and that the light gradient enhancement machine gives results of high accuracy compared to other methods and mechanisms used.
