The head of petroleum technology department, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Salih AlJawad attended the monthly forum for the oil ministry entitled (the national oil company and the prospects for the promotion of the national industry), which was held by the oil ministry / R&D center  on Saturday 30/1/2016 in the Oil Cultural Center hall in Baghdad.

The Forum program included a lecture delivered by His Excellency, the Oil Minister, Mr. Adel Abdul-Mahdi, who showed the necessity for Iraq's national oil company, in consistence with the oil countries in the world. Also, the Senior Undersecretary for the oil ministry, Mr. Fayadh Hassan Niamaa presented a lecture focusing on the experiences of the oil companies in various countries of the world.

The meeting was also attended by a number of the members in the House of Representatives and advanced staff in the Ministry of Oil as well as experts and academics from the Iraqi universities.
