In
preparation for the new academic year 2013-2014, the U of
Technology Petroleum Department held a meeting of the general
authority for teaching in the department on Wednesday,
04/09/2013 , at the conference hall in the presence of President
of the University, Dr. Amin Douai Thamer, and head of the
department Dr. Mohammed Saleh Al-Jawad, scientific assistants,
administrative and all faculty members. The head of the university stressed on the need to adhere to the guidance of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and listened to the obstacles that may face the lecturers during their March scientific finding appropriate solutions, praising the positions of Prime Minister and the parliament and the Ministry of Higher Education of the Iraqi importance and support of faculty in the construction of Iraqi society, which places the responsibility of the professor, a great responsibility to the attributes of great stature and authentic Iraqi national identity , since teaching has the ability to upgrade and educate the community . Further, the president of the university valued the efforts of the head of the department and the teaching of what is happening in it of scientific developments and positive changes ((must build the new institution in the direction you want the state by directing work and direction in the right direction until the graduation of students with experience and qualifications to work in government institutions, etc.)). At the end of meeting, the president thanked the university department for their continued support and great efforts for the department.
