The head of the Petroleum Engineering Section meets with the teaching cadre in the department.

   The head of the Petroleum Engineering Section was held under the chairmanship of  Dr. akel Abdullah Muhammed  and the branch manager  Imad Abdul Hussein had a lengthy meeting with the section's faculty on 09/10/2013 at the conference hall .

The meeting included a discussion of the difficulties that may face the scientific faculty through the scientific path within the department.

The head of the section stressed many issues, of most important: the formation of a scientific committee specific to the department for follow-up of promotion of scientific faculty according to the instructions of the president of the university, indicating the need for follow-up faculty to students through daily examinations, scientific reports and important discussions in order to raise the scientific level of the students.

 Dr.  Aqeel Abdullah focused on the importance  of  the teaching supervision on the practical experiences for students within the department's laboratories as well as the role of supervisor's practical , also during the meeting the report of teachers to choose their representative through the department 's rules of procedure and by the members of the board of the department , was chosen as  Dr. Mohammed Abdul Hassan and as their representative as well as the need for guiding students to abide by a common dress attire , the primary goal of the educational process is to achieve success and improve the level of scientific and educational student .
