The head of the of Petroleum
Engineering section, Dr. Akil Abdullah Mohammed, and the
coordinator of the section, Mr. Imad Abdul Hussein met with the
faculty cadre on Monday 18/11/2013 at the conference meeting
hall. The meeting included an overview on the most important faculty and administrative developments, including: the approval of the formation of a committee of scientific promotions within the department headed by Dr. Samira Mohammed and the opening of the graduate study at the Master’s level next year and work on a yearly newsletter (manual ) that includes all activities of the section since its inception and until the graduating first portion of students for the academic year 2013/2014 as well as scientific issues again related to summer training for students and recording of grades for first semester to encourage students to make greater efforts for the success and progress , with a focus on the importance of follow-up projects, graduating students of the fourth year.
