Within the Small Grants Program (IREX), the head of oil Technology department (Prof. Mohammed Jawad) and a number of faculty members participated in (pBL) course, which was held in Erbil for the period of 8-10 /2/2015. The course included a of lectures on how to deal with the problem and viewing the topic and the issue by the professor and urging the students to learn by finding solutions to the problems at hand as well as the fruitful discussions between faculty and staff (IREX) organizer of the program. The delegates of the Petroleum Technology department gave some types of issues that rely on solving problems and come up with appropriate solutions, which students can be found. At the end of the course the participants received a certificate of appreciation from the American University of Missouri about passing the course successfully. The faculty participants from the department are both: Dr. Ahmed Abdullah, Ms. Leila Letif, Dr. Raed Naeem and Dr Nonor.
