The petroleum technology president, Dr. Mohammed Saleh Al-Jawad has met with the senior Undersecretary for refinery Affairs of the oil ministry, professor Fayyad Nemaa in the ministry headquarter/ R & D oil center on Tuesday, 06/09/2015, which was attended by both the Advisor to the Minister and Director-General of the drilling company in addition to the Director General of the Departments of reservoirs and training in the Ministry of Oil.

Dr. Al-Jawad has discussed many issues in the meeting: the discussion of the joint cooperation mechanism minutes paragraphs with the Ministry of Oil, development of study in the department related to the engineering management of oil installations, the allocation of scholarships seats of (6) of the department  graduates for a PhD degree in petroleum engineering of the scarcity of specialization, the possibility of releasing the fees of students trained in field oil sites during the training period (about one month) as well as supplying the department with consumed drilling tower by the Iraqi Drilling Company to take advantage of it in the students' training, which comes as part of the paragraphs of the implementation of the terms of the memorandum of understanding signed between the department and the company.
